EMARS String Orchestra

Artistic Director and Concertmaster: Janez PODLESEK

The EMARS String Orchestra was founded with the aim of providing comprehensive musical development, offered by the EMARS platform to its members. The ensemble consists of a selected group of 15 musicians from Slovenia and other European countries, performing under the artistic direction of the renowned violinist and academic professor Janez Podlesek. His leadership is supported by distinguished musicians, members of professional orchestras, and professors at music academies – cellist Prof. Igor Mitrović, violist Prof. Maja Marija Rome, and double bassist Prof. Stevan Jovanović – who contribute their extensive knowledge and experience to achieving the ensemble’s high artistic standards.
